Top 5 steps that will help you lose weight with water

First of all, does drinking more water really help with losing weight?

You’ve probably heard it more than once: drinking more water will help you lose more weight. But does water really help weight loss? The short answer is yes. Drinking water helps boost your metabolism, cleanse your body, and acts as an appetite suppressant. Also, drinking more water helps your body stop retaining water, leading you to drop those extra pounds of water weight.

STEP 1: DRINK BEFORE YOU EAT

Because water is an appetite suppressant, drinking it before meals can make you feel fuller, therefore you are reducing the amount of food you eat. Health resource website WebMD states that drinking water before meals results in an average reduction in intake of 75 calories per meal. Drinking water before just one meal per day would cause you to ingest 27,000 fewer calories per year. Do the math: You'd lose about eight pounds per year just from drinking water! Now imagine if you drank it before each meal. Our Explosion Water Bottle is a great way to make sure you are getting the right amount of water before a meal.

STEP 2: REPLACE CALORIE-FILLED DRINKS WITH WATER

Ditch the sodas and juice and replace them with water to help you lose weight. If you think water tastes boring, add a slice of lemon. A glass of water with lemon is a recipe for successful weight loss because the pectin in lemons helps reduce food cravings. Think water doesn’t really help with weight loss? Give up those sugary drinks for just a few weeks and see the difference.

STEP 3: HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD YOU DRINK?

Many health authorities recommend drinking eight glasses of water (8-oz glasses, about 2 liters) per day. However, this number is completely random. As with so many things, water requirements depend entirely on the individual; for example, people who sweat a lot or exercise regularly may need more water than those who are not very active. Older people and breast-feeding mothers also need to monitor their water intake more closely.

Keep in mind that you also get water from many foods and beverages, such as coffee, tea, meat, fish, milk, and especially fruits and vegetables. As a good rule of thumb, you should always drink water when you're thirsty and drink enough to quench your thirst.

If you find yourself having a headache, or in a bad mood, constantly hungry or have trouble concentrating, then you may suffer from mild dehydration. Drinking more water may help fix this. Based on the studies, drinking 1-2 liters of water per day should be sufficient to help with weight loss. Here's how much water you should drink, in different measurements:

Liters: 1–2.

Ounces: 34–67.

Glasses (8-oz): 4–8.

However, this is just a general guideline. Some people may need less, while others may need a lot more. Also, it is not recommended to drink too much water either, as it may cause water toxicity.

STEP 4: DRINK IT ICE COLD

According to the editorial staff at WebMD, drinking ice cold water helps boost your metabolism because your body has to work harder to warm the water up, therefore you burn more calories and lose weight. Plus, ice cold water is just so much more refreshing than water that’s room temperature. Our H2O Water Bottle with merge style and functionality can ultimately give you the tools you need to start losing weight and boost your metabolism.

STEP 5: HIT THE GYM

Because drinking water helps prevent muscle cramps and keeps your joints lubricated, you can work out longer and harder. Just another way that proper hydration helps you lose weight. The main goals of taking H2O throughout your exercise routine are to prevent dehydration and to not drink more than you're sweating out. Then, about 20 to 30 minutes before training, drink 8 ounces. While exercising, continue to drink 7 to 10 ounces about every 10 to 20 minutes for optimal hydration. And if you are going to the gym we have a great offer for you, our new 600ML Water Bottle has pillboxes, so you can take your supplements with you.

So, yes, you can lose weight with water. Avoid having cheat days every day, don't drink your calories (nasty sodas, etc.) eat healthy and also having any activity is a great add up.

We promise you will see the results very soon!
